Construct-A-Comic
A mix-and-match toolkit to stage your own comic strips
This was a project that was made for Portland's Maker Faire in 2014. It consisted of a three-panel stage and a cast of mix-and-match characters and props. People set up their characters, select the background for each panel (a digital projection), and author a little story using the props and speech bubbles. We also had a rig to record the comics made at Maker Faire and posted them to an instagram account.
This was created and documented with help from my friends and colleagues at Second Story and started life as a whiteboard comic installation in our studio.
